  • Tram A or D, stop "Saint-Florent" (~7 min on foot). The hotel is 2 stops / ~5 min from Strasbourg central station.

Breakfast at K HOTEL — 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM on weekdays, until 11:00 AM on Sunday

Breakfast is served in a private room on the ground floor, reserved for MOS ambassadors.

  • Monday to Saturday: 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM
  • Sunday 24 May: 6:30 AM to 11:00 AM (sleep-in allowed)

Hotel Wi-Fi — credentials printed on your room keycard

Wi-Fi network name and password are printed directly on the keycards handed out at check-in. No public network to remember.

Check-out time — Tuesday 26 May by 11:00 AM

All ambassadors must check out of their room by 11:00 AM on Tuesday 26 May.

  • If you leave later in the day, the hotel can store your luggage at reception (just ask at the front desk).

This is the main venue for Meeting of Stars working sessions, and the location of the opening dinner on Thursday 21 May.

Thursday 21 May dinner at the Patinoire — around 20:00

The opening dinner is served on-site at the Patinoire around 20:00, right after the welcome briefing. No need to plan any other meal for Thursday evening.

Patinoire Wi-Fi — public "Stras wifi" network

Connect to the public "Stras wifi" network. Authentication via email + validation (no password). The account is automatically activated after a few minutes.

How to get to the Patinoire from K HOTEL by tram

  • Tram A or D to "Rotonde" stop → ~2 min on foot (bus C4 / G also stop nearby)
  • From K HOTEL: same Cronenbourg district, a couple of stops on tram A/D (Saint-Florent → Rotonde)
  • CTS pass distributed on Thursday evening (see transports section)

A lunch is served on-site at La Grenze around 12:30 on Monday, just before the afternoon manifesto drafting session.

How to get to La Grenze from K HOTEL on your own

Ambassadors travel around Strasbourg independently using their CTS pass (see transports section). No group transport organized for La Grenze.

Transports — Strasbourg

The assistant does not compute live routes. It gives the exact address and the known tram stop for each venue; for door-to-door directions, use Google/Apple Maps or the CTS app. It never invents streets, stops or durations.

Free CTS pass for all ambassadors (tram + bus, valid until 26 May)

All 27 ambassadors receive a CTS pass (Compagnie des Transports Strasbourgeois) granting free access to the entire tram + bus network of Strasbourg, from arrival until departure on Tuesday 26 May.

Arriving by Flixbus from Frankfurt airport — pass handed out at the Étoile bus station

Case 1 — arriving by Flixbus from Frankfurt airport on Thursday 21 May at 14:50:

  • The Flixbus arrives at the Place de l'Étoile bus station, Strasbourg.
  • The CTS pass is handed out directly on arrival by the NL team — no separate pick-up point.
  • You can then head to K HOTEL or the Patinoire l'Iceberg with your pass.

Arriving any other way (train, other flight, other time) — pass handed out at the welcome briefing 18:30 Patinoire l'Iceberg

Case 2 — all other arrivals:

  • You make your own way to the Patinoire l'Iceberg (rue Pierre Nuss) for the welcome briefing at 18:30.
  • The CTS pass is distributed at the welcome briefing.
  • If you arrive before 18:30, you can drop your bags at K HOTEL first.

From Strasbourg central station to K HOTEL or Patinoire l'Iceberg

While you wait for your CTS pass, a single ticket costs €1.80 or a 10-trip pack from any machine:

  • Tram A or D: "Rotonde" stop for the Patinoire l'Iceberg + NL Contest site, "Saint-Florent" stop for K HOTEL (both in Cronenbourg)
  • Taxi G7 / Uber from the station forecourt (~€10 to the Cronenbourg / Rotonde area)

Strasbourg-Entzheim airport — TER train from the central station

  • Take any tram (or walk) to Strasbourg central station (Gare Centrale).
  • At the central station, board the TER train direction Entzheim Aéroport. Journey: about 9 minutes. 2–3 trains per hour at peak times. Ticket ~€2.80 (CTS pass does NOT cover the TER).
  • Alternative: taxi or Uber, about 20 min and €25–30.
  • Do not invent other routes: TER from the central station is the only public-transport path to the airport.

CTS network: trams and buses in Strasbourg

  • Tram: 6 lines (A, B, C, D, E, F) covering all of Strasbourg
  • Bus: many complementary lines
  • App: "CTS" (iOS / Android) to plan trips
  • Also works for Vél'hop bikes (separate rental, €1/h)

Getting to the European quarter and Lieu d'Europe by tram

Line E:

  • "Parlement européen" stop for the Parliament
  • "Droits de l'Homme" stop for the ECHR
  • "Lieu d'Europe" stop for the information centre

Getting to La Grenze on Monday evening

No organized transport, ambassadors travel there independently with their CTS pass. Check the route on the CTS app from your starting point.

Public Wi-Fi

The city offers a free Wi-Fi network Strasbourg WiFi in tourist areas (Place Kléber, Cathedral, Petite France).
